Switching to Synthetic

Switching to Synthetic

Hey my car has 130,00 miles and i want to switch to synthetic. Will my car still be ok? is there any theing special i need to kno to do this or do i jus do it like a normal oil change?

does it burn any oil now? if not you will be ok. i switched at 100k. nothing special. just drain and fill like usual.. i let my old oil drip out for like a hour before i refilled with synt

I'll only add that for the first fill you should change your filter after about 1-2k miles due to the fact the the syn oil will be breaking up any dino oil residue stuck in your engine and running it through the filter. After that you should be fine.

just switched this weekend. Mobile 1, K&N filter. Hadn't notice any thing different. switched at 109,900.
