woohoo! My specialty. As for not being able to drive up due to the front lip, use some sort of wooden planks to lift your nose up before drving up the ramp. I used a 10 inch lift ramp and bricks to get it up there. As for removing plastic thingys...you dont have to. The sway bars are exposed, you simply didnt look back enough to see them. Once you do, it will be obvious cuz it will be the same shape as the after market sways that you bought.

I would say u don't install the sways yourself...a number of members had difficulty installing these...I would take it to a dealer or a performance shop who knows what they are doing...

Joey, I will definitely agree with you on this one. Just pay to get it done by someone professional.

depending on the climate and road conditions combined with the quality of the materials, you'd be very surprised.

I just installed mine a month ago after having the car since April, it was a piece of cake, use a floor jack and jack stands, it was easy, no need for removal of any plastic stuff.

There is one change to the instructions in the FAQ - instead of trying to turn the nut on the end link with the wrench, get a allen head socket driver for a socket wrench and instead of using a allen wrench to hold the end link nut use the allen/socket to loosen and tighten. The nut in the back is at a weird angle and people were only able to turn it little bits at a time.

Had the thing done in 2 hours. Love 'em.

I would actually recommend leaving the allen wrench idea alone. If you dont have an EXACT match you could easily strip the insides of that bolt. It totally depends, because if you strip the nut at the corners, the sways should come with its own, but if you strip that hex bolt, you're toast! I basically used a wrench to inch my way through the nut and left the allen wrench danging and leaning against the body while I turned the wrench. Remember to lube it with WD40 or something. If that thing is rusted, you arent going nowhere.

2 bolts per bracket and 1 end link nut on each side, totalling up to 4 bolts and 2 nuts (plus mine came with oversized washers and bracket mounts). It's not that hard at all, its the labor of turning the end link nuts on the front side that sucks. As for improving the cornering, I usually would just let my car do all the talking, but since that not possible, all I could say is, if you happen to enjoy the body roll, then dont get the bars, cuz for me, its gone. I kinda would like to test drive someone's stock TLS to rediscover what I have since in a way I got completely use to it already.

I went and purchased the 5mm (operating from memory now), but anyway, purchased the right size for $4 - 5 worked great. If you didn't have the right size I would agree.

Unless one is a wrenchhead

It all depends on the level of skill and the TOOL's needed. Some of you may have the skill's to do this yourself, but it's also a whole lot easier if you have all the proper tool's

I'm doing it myself when I get it along with the springs but it's getting cold now, I'm not going to do any projects in the cold again. Taking out a heatercore in 20 degree weather once was enough (Stang not TLS ) Whole dash needs to come out!!

I love doing my own mods but I will have to say...if it's a comptech thing get the dealership to do it...no dealership install = no warranty. If it wasn't comptech I'd understand as there was no warranty anyway.
