sway bars

I remember some time ago that someone explained in detail with pictures how to install sway bars. I was hoping someone would drop me a link to it. I just got my sway bars in and want to install them myself. Are they pretty difficult to install????

Deeznutz,
They should have come with instructions but if not checkout the sways on Comptechs site, they have instructions there. I think one of the main things to remember is that you need to put a 5mm allen wrench in the end of the bolt to loosen the nut on the link end. I have the front of my car up on jackstands right now waiting for it to get light enough outside to install my sways. I was looking to see if they needed to be torqued to a certain spec but haven't been able to find anything. ValueTL checked his HELM manual and I checked in Chiltons, no specified torque.

Good luck on your install.
Ron

I guess the installation FAQ is gone. Here's the thread I posted when I did my install.
