Sway Bar Clunking noise

Sway Bar Clunking noise
Well I figured out where my clunking noise was coming from. I went under the car this evening and noticed that on the rear sway bar, the plastic retention clips, the ones that clip together and are located to the side of the sway bar bushings had moved about an 1" to the middle of the bar. Since there was a gap between the clip and the bushing, they would bang against the bushing and cause a thumping/clunking noise.
Was able to remove the clip and reposition it, this time squeezing it together a bit more than it was. No more clunking noise.

nsx, you got the sways when comptech was giving grease with them, is that right?
i got grease for the rear bushings, but comptech is now throwing in teflon tape for the rear bars. i took off the bushings last week, cleaned off all the grease, and wrapped the bar (where it meets the bushings) 3 times with thick teflon tape. the thumping noise i was getting is totally gone. its pretty wild how some god damn tape can make your car 10 times more enjoyable to drive.....mine would thump and knock over slow-speed bumps all the time
