Question superficial scratches

I noticed a big long scratch in my car, and I dont' even wanna think about how or who did it. But anyways it's not into the paint because I don't see any black, so I think it's just scratched into the clear coat. Also it's not one of the weak scratches where i can just rub a little with some cloth and it goes away. what's the best way to get rid of this scratch? thanks

Rub it with your hand.. Does it come off? Go out and buy a clearcoat cleaner, polish or any cleaning material for the paint. that should do it..

What i do is get some clear coat paint and spray some on the tip of a tooth pick and go over the scratch, it will disappear, after 20 minutes of drying, buff it down with some wax...

I don't know if I'd do all of these procedures, but:

Just bring it to a professional body shop. They can polish it out. Shouldn't cost too much.

If you are not a professional, please do not use the touchup paint to fix the scratch yourself. For the love of the God, I used touchup paint to fix a minor scratch on my rear bumper last Saturday, let me tell you, I have been crying since. The touchup paint looked horrible and it didn't match with the car at all. I am actually trying to get some professional help to get rid of my stupid touchup paint job. Please, do not use touchup paint yourself if you don't know what you are doing.
