Sunroof won't close all the way
My 1999 TL sunroof opens and closes just fine, but it won't close all the way. It gets about an inch or two from being all the way shut and stops. It sounds like it's hitting something, but I don't see anything blocking the rails. I've tried pulling it the rest of the way, but it won't budge.
Any thoughts on what's causing it or how I can fix it? I'm hoping to get this fixed before the rainy season starts here in the south!
Thanks!

Try to shut it manually..
In the trunk there is a tool inside the jack tools its not very tick and its smaller than the others it look like a lever.
Inside the car on the passenger side of the roof you will see a small plastic dot in the middle of the roof, you need to remove that (I cant remember if it is screw type or pop off type) and the tool from the tool box goes in there to manually close the sunroof, It is designed in case the car has a dead battery and you need to close the sun roof. You can try that.

So this just sort of resolved itself. I went out the next day, went back and forth with it, and it shut just fine. I haven't opened it again to see if it still works, for fear of it sticking again, but at least it's shut!

I doubt it's the relays, since it was moving back and forth just fine. It was just hitting a spot while closing like there was something blocking it, even though there wasn't.

You're probably right, I just wanted you to know that there's two relays, one for each direction. So if it happens again you can just swap the relays positions and if the stoping/blockage follows the relays then you would know for sure it's a defective relay.
