sunroof

sup i have noticed that when i have the sunroof glass closed and the visor open u know which allows the sunlight to come in that it raddels like a SOB anyone elese....

yeah i have the same exact problem.... if u have ur windows down, u wont really notice (too loud to)... but if u have ur windows up, u might as well close it cuz that rattle gets really annoying fast

I think he means the sunshade on the moonroof. Havent seen that on my TL; just my Integra. Had to pull the entire headliner off to tighten those damn bolts.

it's a known issue. just bring it to the dealership and they'll put on this tape and the sound will go away.

duck tape? That universal duck tape that fights everything from chemical weapons to sunroof rattles?

I have the same problem... but the music is always too loud to hear anything. at all.

duck tape is not a misspelling, there is a brand of duct tape called "Duck Tape"

One thing I've noticed is if you have the visor closed, and then open the sunroof fully without first opening the visor manually yourself, both will open but the visor isn't truly as far back as it can go into the roof (it can go about 1 inch further or so). If you close the sunroof without touching the visor it is still open but not 100% open (about 95% open). I've noticed that it seems to rattle when left in this position. For me anyway, if I manually open the visor first all the way tight, it never rattles. Try it and see if it helps.

BTW, there is a TSB for both the sunroof "squeak" and the visor "rattle" (two separate problems).

kool yea i know what ur sayin pianoman but sometimes i just want to let some sun in and not open it but the ratteling bothers the hell out of me fkin suxx but ill take it to the dealership thanx guys
