Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the cut out for the moonroof is huge, yet when you open the moonroof the actual opening is small due to the fact that the glass doesn't slide back all the way. It's doubly frustrating, because I did not realize this at the time I purchased the car. I say that because I bought the moonroof visor with it, so it limits the opening even more!!
Anything I can do to have the glass slide back all the way?

 

Don't think you can do anything about it.... to tell you the truth, I always feel the sunroofs on TL/CL/Accord.... most of Japanese cars, in fact..... "after thoughts"....

Look at European cars w/sunroof.... they are MUCH MUCH better made and looks more uniform with the whole car.... and better designed, too.... I found our sunroof to be extremely loud when tilt open.... and the big rubber trim around the glass makes the whole thing look cheesy.....

why don't we try and swap out ours for the german ones?? Try and find one that is almost the same size as the TL ones..

 

It's not nearly as annoying as the sunroof in my wife's old Integra, I think the opening was only about 6 inches when fully open.

 

i think if someone is bothered by something so small.. there is no way to make you happy. besides.. if you're driving.. what are you doing looking out the moonroof??!?!?!?! (watch for that DUCK!!!!! duck.. "AFLAC!!!!!")
