hey, i jus got a 2000 3.2TL, metallic drk blue. i was wonderin if anyone has suggestions on how i should mod it, i want to do somethin, but not over do it. much appreciated

Depends what you want...

Improve handling? Probably sway bars first.

Improve looks? Springs.

Make her sound better? Intake or exhaust.

 

Your color is Montery Blue Pearl. Intake, headers, sways, springs, tint, wider tires all good choices!

 

Didn't mention this before, but I would suggest that you go to a couple of meets and see/hear what others have done. That's a great way to help you decide what you'd like to change.

Be warned, though, once you start modding you can't stop! :wow:

 

Thank You very much for the suggestions. is there a type-s kit that i can put even though i dont think a type-s was made in that year? also, what type of springs and intake would u suggest? Are there stock foglights i can get to put in the bumper or would i have to buy aftermarket ones?

You mean a bodykit? Yes, there's an OEM kit out for our 2nd. Gen TL's. If your looking to buy the kit at a reasonable price, check out a-world.com (replace "a-" with "acura"). As for springs, I would suggest Comptech Springs if you don't mind your ride being a little harsh or H&R Sports. If you don't want your ride to be so harsh, I would suggest H&R OE Sports. For the intake, get the Comptech Icebox if you want added power w/o it being to loud and AEM Intake if you want the added power w/it being loud. There are stock foglights that you can put into the bumper but you would have to buy the Honda Inspire or Value Sports bumper. Check out http://www.value-caraudio.com for it. I think it would be less money for you to buy aftermarket fogs and install them (which will consider a little custom work).

wow, thanks a lot, i think ill plan on getting the OEM bodykit first, then i will work on the engine. i think for now i am happy with the way the stock suspension is, and once i get more money, i will continue to mod it slowly. thanks for the advice.

should i just get aftermarket foglights and then buy a stock switch? so that is consistent wit the rest of the console?

has anyone put a carbon fiber dash kit? how does it look with the wood on the side? or should i just get the matching wood kit?
