Suggestions and Advice

I want to start modding but I am a little skeptical because of our glass trannys. I went and priced an Unorthodox SS pulley set and they were asking $340, is it worth it? Also springs..I am deciding between Comptech and Tein H-Tech, I don't want a big drop just a subtle one for 18's. Which are smoother between the two?

Thanks

Go Tein H Techs....the drop is around 1-1.5in....and the ride is as rough as that of the Type S OEM springs...Comptech Springs have had rusting issues and their drop is more around 2+inches.

Here is the link to get a great deal on the UR pulley set...

I would just got with the crank pulley as that is where all the HP and tq gains are from.

The old comptech's rusted and dropped 1.5 f/1.0 r. The new comptech's do not rust, mainly because they are renamed Eibach Pro kits, which lower ~2 f/r.

Agree on the H-techs though.

Well if it's gonna be a problem with the warranty, than I'll pass and just throw in an Comptech Icebox and that's it. I have a warranty till 75k and of course 100k for the tranny.

None of the mods will effect your waranty. None of them will cause the tranny to die any sooner. there is no need for the ur set, just the crank, and that is alot cheaper than what you priced. I wouldnt wait for the warranty to expire.
