Subs opinions please...

Well, I've been shopping around for subs to put a lil thump in my 2G and i seem to have narrowed it down to a couple ones. I just wanted opinions from you guys because many of you have experience with subwoofers as opposed to me who is dealing with this for the first time. I've think i've seen a couple guys that have the Basslink but none really gave and adequate description of its sound quality. I'm looking for only a single sub setup so it doesn't take up too much trunk space. My first option is the Infinity Basslink, I'm sure many of you know about it so i'm not gonna waste ur time with it. And here is my second option: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218011393973

I'm basically looking for some fairly hard hitting bass. Opinions and critique is appreciated. Let me know what you guys think i should do and if you happen to come across any better deals then hook it up. Thanks everyone!

I dunno if fusion is the best buy cheapo brand but there are some pretty good reviews of it on the website.

none of the above.

if you want a single sub that takes up no trunk space hit up uncald4.

he'll set you up right if you dont mind spending a little more. do it once and do it right.

Ya I was just looking at those encloseures, they're a little pricey for me. I think it's runnin like $350 for a 10". I wasnt even looking to spend that much on my whole system..lol. I'm not really lookin for window shattering bass, just sumthin to make it noticeably better.

Get a better amp hooked up to the stock sub, it will give you a little more kick. Then if its not enough then add a better sub to the system.

spend the money now cause all your gonna do is be spending it later when you decide your not happy with what you bought.

basslink might work ok in a hatchback or maybe even suv but not in the tl.

hold on to your dough and keep an eye on the black market for sweet deals.

None of those subs you posted for us to poll.

Do it right the first time, or you'll be spending more later on, like i did.

Got 2 12" Alpine Type R's, wasn't satisfied with quality. Got a deal on a 12" W6, was satisfied until I heard the W7, which i had to get.

Soria a member on here i believe he has the basslink go talk to him. I think his in there right now he has a TL so he will give you a good opinion.

Thats true what fsttyms said get a better amp that way it may be cheaper, im still not sure what i want to do, its either get a amp and hook it up to my bose, or get a basslink

If you get them buy a 4 year warranty so if you blow them you can replace them there plus say down the road you want to upgrade to like alpine subs you can tell them that they are blown and you get what you paid for the sub back so you can pay the different for the alpine ones lol
