Strongarm hood struts

I saw these on Rockauto and ordered two of them from Amazon

Amazon Amazon

Both struts are exactly the same and both will only fit the driver's side. Is there a way to rotate of the ends so it fitshe passenger side.
I've found no mention of left and right in the part numbers. It seems to be 1 part fits all.

I ran into the same problem.

So what you need to do is the following:
Step 1: Install the driver's side
Step 2: Take the leftover part in your right hand
Step 3: Pass it to your left hand while rotating it

The end result will be a product that will fit the passengers side

More seriously though, the OEM part is one part for both sides.

If the aftermarket piece doesn't fit, I would return it.

Thanks for the encouragement
I got it to work by attaching one end to the hood and rotating the assembly so the two ends face opposite directions instead of both facing the same direction.

I installed the 6322 last year. I hope the quality is good and I can get at least 5 years out of them.
