Strobe then goes out

Strobe then goes out
About a year ago my passenger low beam D2R bulb turned pink/red so i replaced it then my driver side went bad. I replaced that one too. After doing this my passenger light stopped coming on, then my driver side started flashing/strobing. I took it to a shop, big mistake, and sunk $2000 into this black hole of an issue they replaced the ballasts light bulbs connections everything i could think of. Did it work? no the driver side works fine now but my passenger side will occasionally flash/strobe and go out after a while of continuous flashing and when i turn my lights off and back on again they come on and repeat the same process. Any ideas? i plan on getting an after market setup but if its something else i don't wanna piss more money away.

Welcome Mw1994 !!!
First off.....if ya spent $2000 for a shop to repair your car's headlamps, they should stand behind their work, IMO. Replacing "OEM" parts on our TL's HID set-up is way too expensive, when compared to the newer and improved aftermarket replacement kits for less than $200.
What to do ??? It's your call, but check out the previous related threads concerning our 2nd Gen's "HID" headlamps. There are DIY's and this site's sponsor vendors offer the recommended replacement kits.
