Strange Problem Please Help

OK, so I have had some minor problems with my 99 TL-p over the last few weeks/days and I wanted to share them with the board and see if anyone has any ideas, before I go and bring it to a mechanic.

Here is the guideline of problems:

1) a few weeks ago, the TCS and SRS lights went on. I turned off the car, restarted it and it was fine.

2) This happened a second time 2(ish) weeks later

3) Earlier this week I noticed the compressor wasnt working. The air was blowing out of the vent, but it wasnt cold, and I could hear that the compressor wasnt on. I turned off the car, and 10 minutes later turned it on, and everything was fine.

4) Now for the kicker: This happened while I was driving today. Radio and A/C was on. I was driving along a normal road doing about 40, and all of a sudden the car turns off. Just like that, the speedometer and tachometer go to zero. compressor stops working, radio stays on, but there is no power when i push the gas peddle. Some lights start flashing on the dash. SRS, and seat belt. I immediately think its the tranny, but there was no jerking, it was just a smooth stop, and the car just rolled with momentum. I pull over, and turn off the car. I wait a minute, turn the car back on, it starts, and then dies again. I wait 5 minutes, turn it on again, turn off the nav screen, turn off radio, turn off A/C and it works fine. I continued on my way and made it to school. Im at school now, so I dont know what driving home will bring

ANY IDEAS FROM ANYONE?

couple things to check. if you have a volt meter check your battery volts and alt for current. check to make sure all battery conections are tight. it may be those listed, which a mechanic could load test.

is the Check Engine Light on? or come on? if it is you may want to go to a auto parts store and have it diagnosed?

Im shocked that no one on the board picked up on this. But after this problem (starting and stopping randomly) occured again I spoke to Acura and there is a recall for this exact problem. I have an appt. on Tuesday and they said they would have it all fixed in 30 minutes.. Turns out there are 2 recalls for the ignition switch. 1) the recent one, where the key can come out when the car is on and 2) back from 2002 or 2001 wires burning etc, causing random stopping and starting
