Post stering wheel noise anyone?

I only have 600 miles on the TL-S,
and the steering wheel makes a clicking noise
whenever i go over bumpy roads. Anyone encounter the same problem?

nope.... are you sure it's the steering wheel? try to tighten it where you adjust the tilt on the steering column

My Type S (7200 miles) steering wheel makes a plastic clicking sound, even with turn signal off, when turning sharply at slow speeds.
Dealer told me that this was normal. Does not sound like the usual Acura craftsmanship.

Question

I also have a low mile TL-S, While I have not experienced the "clicking" sound you are referring, to I was wondering what the mechanical humming noise was that takes place in my car about 5 to 10 seconds after I start the car? Im usually reversing and the hmmmmp, sound last only a couple of seconds like something is moving into place. I apologize if this question is amateur Im knew to this site, and car. Oh yeah and PLEASE tell me this noise is routine!!

The noise is probably from the motor of your passenger door mirror tilting down while your car is in reverse.

Cool

the motorize sound may also be ABS, which should be normal, no worry..

I had the same noise and you are going to laugh when i tell you how i fixed it. The dealer had given me a fancy acura keyfob. i left it on with the remote and when i would hit bumps and take turns fast i would notice a tapping noise. I finally realize about 30 miles later that it was the key chain hitting the steering column. Needles to say i felt dumb and am glad i figured it out before i took it to ACura and made a big deal about it. Hope this helps.

i have the plastic clicking sound as well on the steering wheel....don't know where it's coming from..espeically going over lots of rough roads.
Sounds like it might need lubricants or seal tight.

I had the same plastic vibration/clicking noise .. dealer removed underside of steering column fascia, and remounted some component -- solved the clicking. It is absolutely due to poor craftsmanship. To the topic starter of this discussion, don't let anyone tell you it's normal, it can and should be fixed.

Also, there is a vibration occasionally that cropped up in the center heat vents (top of center console above heat controls). There is a metal shield inside there that may need retightening -- I got this fixed as well.

Also, there is a vibration in the left and right door -- upper rubber door seals -- they either need to be replaced or relubed .. and a staticky.. sticky noise that emanates down to your left ear (driver) or right ear (passenger) will be elimanated.

Best of Luck.

I forgot to mention they also replaced my sunroof seal w/ a revision from Acura -- there was major vibration coming from up there over bumps or even on smooth roads (cool weather).. When it became warmer out, the rubber expanded and the noise went away -- if you're going to take it in, wait for a cool day -- btw, Acura sent a service bulletin to my dealership about this.

I think that could be it..I knew it was coming from somewhere inside or under the steering.

thanks
