stereo

i drive a 06 Chevy Pickup at work and it has a nice stereo set up. when you shut off the car car and remove the key the stereo keeps playing untill a door is opened. just curious if anyone has tried that on the TL and had any luck. i really wish i had that its a really nice feature. im quite fluent in electronic just hoping someone else has had success so i dont have to think as much. (it hurts if i think too much)

You might not be able to do it on the stock sound system since it was not designed to do so.
For aftermarket, you might be able to rewire to make it so.
In 2nd Gen. Acura TL (not sure about the rest), when you shut off the engine and pull the key, the power windows and moon roof will still work for about 60 seconds or until you open the door (which ever comes first).
You could tap to this wire to drive the relay for your sound system.

Just a thought.

Cheers !!!
