The car is a 2000 acura tl 3.2. I've had trouble starting the car for the past couple of weeks, alternately. Initially it cranks but doesn't start, until it does after a few attempts.
I've consulted a few mechanics, where the first suggested it's a dirty ignition switch, but that sounded a little bit off. Other three all said it's the starter.

Another thing to mention is that the check engine light is on. Checking the codes showed:
P1457 - Evap system large leak.
P1365 - Camshaft sensor position out of phase.
That's what I was told by the mechanic who checked it. I couldn't find the P1365 definition for my car online to verify. For other types and models it seems like something that has to do with ignition. So this detail kinda bothers me.

Otherwise, for now, the thing I am left with is the starter and I began looking for a part online. Would be happy to get suggestions on the right basic starter I should get. And any thoughts regarding the second code, or the problem in general.

I replaced the starter today and seems like it starts now with no difficulties.
The bad starter was supposed to be fairly new as well (at least that's what the previous owner said, I got the car about 4 months ago). That makes me wonder if there might be something that is damaging the starter?

About the camshaft sensor.. I've had trouble finding it. Is it buried behind the timing belt? Do I have to take off the belt in order to replace the sensor? Has anyone here done it before?
