so my car didnt want to start so i hit the starter with a stick and it will start so yesterday i buy a re-manufacture starter i put it and it didn't work i still got to do the same thing hit it with a stick and it will start today it didn't even start so i am thinking will it be possible that is another bad starter or is something else anyone could help me please
i think i got the worst TL first the tranny gone 3 months after i bought it then the srs light now the starter or who knows.

 

It could be the Gear position. Try to put the shift in Neutral and see if you could start it. Try to shift it in and out then back to Park, and start it again. check the connector and the ground cable.

 

Two things happen when turn the key: the starter clutch pops the gear out to engage the engine and the motor spins the gear.

When you turn the key, do you hear the clutch pop out? If not, knowing you've tried two starters, its probably an electrical issue (i.e. high resistance due to corroded electrical connections, switch, etc). This is just my 2-cents.

 

i got the new starter and it didnt work so me n my friend move the ground and thats what it was for some reason where it was it didnt do nothing so i move it to the motor n it works good now, well i guess i change the starter before it goes bad thanks for the help!
