My SRS indicator came on this am and will not go off.....i installed some aftermarked neon blue lights under the dash last night (looks sweet) and noticed the srs was on this morning.....i wired the lights into the park lights and grounded them out why would this affect the srs system???or is it just a coincidence i checked all the connections ...and the fuses and still nothing...i even disconected the batery to see if it would reset and nothing....i called the dealer they said it may be the seatbelt mechanizm triggering and that it's happend before on the tl ....
i live 3hrs from the nereset acura dealer so i couldnt take it to them .......is there anyone out there that had a similar problem.....

that's why I wouldn't fool around with the electrical stuff in the car...

btw how do you get the car serviced if you live 3h from the dealer?

 

it happened to me and it was b/c of the passenger seatbelt. they had to order a new seatbelt. u might be looking at a 2 visit deal. sorry
