This morning I noticed a squeaking noise coming from the front end driver's side. When I got out of the car and pushed down on the front left corner it made the squeak as I pushed and let go. Sounds like a shock/strut. Anyone have a bad shock or a shock go at 20K miles???

I wonder if this will be covered by wty or they tell me its a wear item, but I've never seen a stock shock go so fast. Damn!!

 

I had this exact same problem at around 26K miles. It lasted for about a day or two and then just completely went away.

I have no clue what it was, maybe just water or something that splashed up into the shock?

That sounds retarded I know, but I haven't heard it again (pushing or otherwise) for about 500 miles.

If it keeps getting worse or doesn't go away, you should definitely take it in and get it fixed under wty.
