Comptech and H&R are the most popular, H&R is rumored to give you a better all around ride.

I have the comptech springs and not a single complaint. Love the stance, love the ride...if you want to see pics click my link below.

I like the ride and stance of my H&R Sports; the wheel gap is even front and back. The Comptech and Eibach give you more of a raked look (there is less wheel gap in the fron than the back), with the Eibachs dropping more. So, it matters what you want. Nobody has really complained much about any of them. If you get new wheels, it sounds like all of them can have their own problems with offsets.

I am actually happy that I did not go with the Comptec springs. I have said before that the TL rides way to high and it can come down quite a bit. The Eibock springs I bought bring it down perfectly! It does not looked slammed (normal people would not think it was lowered but looks like a more "factory" performance drop). There is still plenty of space in the wheel well and I can take 3 of my corp clients out for lunch without a rub (once the plastic piece is removed). AKA more M5 looking.

Most of all, it doesn't look like I'm a punk kid driving around. If your a punk kid, then you might not like the Eibock springs or comptec... You'll need a 3" + inch drop.

if you have, or are planning to get a system, I'd say go for one of the raked spring sets.. simply because ass-sagging looks bad. Well at least it does to me...

Question

at the risk of showing my newbiness, what is a "raked" spring system. was planning on getting eibachs, but don't want no ass sagging. are these raked?

Comptech's lower the front Aproxiamtely 1.75" and the back is something like 1.5". The H&R sport I think is 1.75" all around (not sure) but I know it's even.

Hence the Compteck sits lower in the front thus giving it the "rake"

If you click on "suspension" on top of this page, it gives you the drop measurements in the specific springs listed for sale.

BTW, you know to buy from this site right? Thank you

also, with the eibachs, are there another part necessary in the rear, some kind of camber adjust arm?

Eibach makes rear adjustable camber arms, I'm pretty sure. I know I have heard most, if not everybody who has Comptechs doesn't have any problems without the use of camber adjusters. Maybe the extra little drop the Eibachs requires camber adjustment because of the amount of the drop? I don't know.

Wait and see if anybody with hands on experience with Eibachs can answer. Nothing beats info from someone who has the actual mod.
