ok i understand that it is supposed to be easy but i just cant make teh grill. I dont understand how you can just place the mesh between teh black thingee and the grill becasue the black thingee has like teh huge centerpiece for the emblem mount. PLEASE help me becasue i really want to do it so i can show everybody my TL becasue its pretty tricked out.

 

Assuming you have a '99-'01 TL here.

The center black backing of the grill does stick out a bit. You need to curve your mesh so that there is enough slack to accommodate the curves of the black backing. Start off by cutting two holes in the mesh and reattaching your A emblem. This will hold the mesh in place as you cut the mesh to the right shape and size. Be patient and play with it. You'll find that you'll need to make additional cuts around the edges in order to fit both halves of the grill back together.

My first attempt didn't turn out too well. I didn't put in enough slack in the grill, so the center part stuck out obtrusively. My second try turned out better.
