What about comptech?

Same thing pretty much if you go with Eibach or H&R. You wont be dissapointed.

If its between Eibach and H&R I would lean towards Eibach.

Just my $.02

Are preference more like religion or actual reasons? I making this debate as well. I would like to finish up my car this week. For my meet in SF/Bay Area.

Comptech/Eibach/H&R?

Comments please... please....

I have searched but I really do not have a good reason for going one way or the other. Folks keep on saying that Comptech Springs have been designed for TL but they use these on the accord v6 too..

So please let us foolios with spring decision to make know...

Thanks

I've asked the Comptech question before. It does seem strange that the same springs are used on the Accord and on the TLs. How does the weight difference account for the performance and engineering of the springs? Does anyone out here have something intelligent to say about this?

No money for Comptech.... Say for a poor guy like me, I consider H&R because 1) they made in Euro(I heard).... 2) $60 cheaper. I also do think about Eibach also because #1) better names..... 2) more people use it.

So do yall think? One think I wanna know is, Prokit said 1.5/1.5 on Accords, but on TL/CL 2.1/1.7...... so does that mean H&R 1.75/1.5 on Accord will be 2.3/1.7 on TL/CL? If so, then it will be too low....

BTW, one reason I dun wanna get Comptech is because the drop for the back is too mild.... Front is perfect, but back is like a joke!

Thanks for comments/advise!!!

I own a 99 Toyota Solara SLE w/ some mods. What I'll say is Eibach all the way. The ride isn't much different from the original. All you can notice is the performance in cornering and speed bumps

BTW I'll be a future owner of TL-S

I know and have seen few people with Eibach on their TL. They seem to run fun and people got no complains... H&R? I am not sure...

I say Eibach is you are on a tight budget, Comptech if you can spend a bit more. Of course coilovers if you got the $$$$

I put on H&R's and have been very happy with them for over a year. I think if you stay with any of those you are allright. I got the H&R's cause they were less expensive at the time. No complaints from me!!

Comptech is the best IMHO, They took the time to do the R/D to create springs for the TL. The drop on the back is not as low as the front but its not as high as you think. Eibach Springs is a German Company in case you didn't know. They would be my second choice.
