Smoke Tail Lights all or half
I cannot decide if I want to tint the whole Tail light or just the red part and leave the white clear part untouched. Sorry Ksuch and bobo hope you don't mind me using your pictures

just the red, i had mine full and didnt like it. sliced off the top and it's alllll grraaaavvvyyyy. also depends if you have the old tails or the new tails i guess. that amber is gross

I think I have to agree.

Mine are fully tinted too, but I think I'm gonna take it off.
That's the good thing about VHT though, you can just scrub it off.

Fully tinted for 99-01 tails, half for the 02-03. Looks sick with the white part untinted. Thats how mine is anyways..

leave the clear alone...all black is too much..i think the clear being left alone is the way to go...thats what i did..and i had acura paint mine with black clearcoat so it looks very clean

Good news bad news. Good news I got the tint on perfectly. Bad news I got it on and realized I had no idea how to get the white half off and I didn't trust myself making a straight line cutting

^ that does become a problem.

Just go slow, and don't press down too hard the first time. After an "impression" has been made, go over again to cut it through.

I think the whole light looks good tinted as long as:

1) The car is a dark color

2) You don't go too dark. As long as the top part isn't extremely dark, your good.

I would leave it as is. I lightly smoked the white area to look like (sort of) the e90 blackline tails

I wouldn't do it at all. Especially if you have the taillights without the amber. I think it looks to ricey, but whatever your tastes are.

Twisted - You debadged just the 3.2 right? Did u just take the whole thing off, cut it, then rebadge it back on? I hate the 3.2 thing..really ugly.

i did the same thing all i didd was get the 3.2 loose with some dental floss then bend it back and forth and it snappped right off leaving only the tl type s

All I did was remove the 3.2 badge. got it loose with dental floss, cut it almost all the way down but left just a little..bent and snapped it off.
