When the trans is fresh- it needs time for all the moving parts to mesh together
That could be affecting your overall performance and loss of top speed

theird gens can get up to 160+ if the governer was removed. ANy car can get to that high speed, it takes time and good tires while back there was a thread on a guy in a hunday that got his sonata to 149 MPH by police radar over a 3 hour course

i would def not be driving that fast in a tl period - let alone a brand new tranny. you could have already caused problems with your new one but let's hope not. i would give it some time to break in by driving at "normal" speeds and not gunning it right off the line. think of it like a new car.

honestly, i think there is no difference in bettween aspec car transmission. A-spec menas just a bodykit, rims, suspension, shif knob and steering wheel upgrade and maybe brake pads. THere is no modification to the engine or driverterrain besides the rims and suspension

I think they stole his a-spec engine just like they steal foglight bulbs and seats and floormats and.....

Like that old Johnny Cash song where he worked at the auto plant all his life----
taking home 1 part a day
somewhere theres a mechanic singing...
I got an 01 02 03 04 TL TSX RCMDX
