Question Simple exterior body question!

I doubt there would be a thread for this anywhere in the forums. On my Type-S, what is that silver trim above the doors called? I need to order what seems to be the two pieces that makes it a complete strip on the driver side, and probably the plastic pieces that mount it to the car. Anyone mind pointing me in the right direction? If you're wondering why it's missing in the first place... the previous owner did not take much care of this beautiful car, and I'm trying to do it some justice.

Heh.....

I just did the exact same repair, only different reason....

Like a dumbass, I took my car thru an auto carwash (Michigan roadsalt)..... Ripped the passenger side 'roof molding' off.... that is what the dealer lists it as.

It is a special order part, will come color matched to your vehicle, list price $78

You may want to give a few boneyards a call first, they might be able to source one for a bit cheaper, but color matching can be difficult..... Hence why I got mine from the dealer

Pardon my laziness then! Much appreciated sir. I'm assuming I'm correct in saying I need parts 7, 13, and 22?

yeah im pretty sure those are the parts you would need. but try and find them on ebay or something first. the prices on that site for those parts is insanity. i only linked it because of the diagram and parts list.

I took a look but it looks like I'm gonna have to do some serious digging. I agree that I shouldn't have to be paying 160 bucks just for some plastic. Also, just to get this out of the way what's the stock inlet/outlet diameter of the catalytic converter on a TL-S? Taking a look at this catback system: http://www.heeltoeauto.com/atlp-cat-...-s-es0002.html
Says the pipe that bolts onto the cat is 2.5".

Dude that's an awesome exhaust system and I really hope you're interested because I am as well and they won't produce the system until at least 8 people commit to buying it. It is a direct bolt up exhaust and nothing needs modifying.

I won't be buying it any time soon, but within the year I'll most likely be getting it. Thanks for that information as well! Regarding my drip roof molding issue, ebay bears no fruit. I'm going to call around to some salvage yards and hope for the best. I just simply won't pay that much money for something with only an aesthetic value.
