Silver Front Turn Signals

I know that Philips makes the silver vision bulbs but only in the PY12W size or something like that. Does anyone know if there is that type of bulb made in 1157 for our front corners? I want to clear my headlights but will only do it if I can have a silver coated bulb. I hate the blue reflection that the alternative bulbs make when the lights are off. I think its rice. Ok for fogs but thats it for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh!!! :wow: Dude, don't paint the light bulbs silver! They'll explode and destroy your headlights!

haha. j/k.
Ok Edub, the guinea pig is still alive and well. My lights, and my housing, still look crisp and clean.

I still don't understand painting the lights silver or installing white lights in- doesn't it make it tough, if not impossible, for the cars around you to see when your lights are blinking because you want to change lanes?

The point is to have them silver painted so there is no reflection created when the lights are off. If you look stright on at your turn signals the entire housing will look like the color of the bulb whether blue or yellow. I dont mind having yellow lights at night because I think it creates a nice ciontrast to the HID. Especially now that I am putting in 6000k. You clear your corners but in reality they dont look cleared because of the reflection created by the colored glass. If you look at them from the side, you dont see any reflection though.

bio: Took the picture out in the canyon by my house. Santiago Canyon. Get some cool sunsets back there.

not sure what the street name is. Its the road right after Irvine lake. I dont even think its public. It belongs to a concrete company. Kinda curvy and goes back up into the hills. Right next to Blackstar.

You mean Jeffery? Thats in between the road into Irvine Lake and Black Star. Hmmm I guess I'll just drive over and find it.

This is a guess but I'd say its about 1/4 mile past the lake on the left. The road will Y about 1/4 down it. Hang to the right which may have the gate closed. You can find some cool spots back there if it is open.
