Signal lights don't work
Hey, I have an Acura tl 2001, no navi. i just recently did the 02-03 front conversion. everything works but the signal lights didn't fit in the socket so i had to solder on the 02 corner signal lights sockets instead and worked just fine. instead of having a green/yellow, red, and black for the normal socket did, it had a green/yellow, black, and black instead.. after i finished soldering the rest, my dash light and shifter lights went out and the signal lights didnt work for some reason. i soon went to check out my fuse underneath the hood and saw the "small lights 15A amp fuse" was blown and then i changed it. it worked for a second then blew again. i tired this 4 more times. same thing kept happening. i gave up then went back to my oem signal light socket and harness and eveything was fine again, the dash light stayed on and the cornered light works and the fuse didnt blow but now it didnt signal anymore... i pushed my hazard lights and nothing came on, no noise either. i soon replaced my flasher relay but then still it didnt make the signal or hazard light work....... i guess my main questions are, is there another fuse i can check like an actual fuse not a relay? did i short a wire out blowing my fuse like so many times? what else can i try to do. i dont have much cash to bring it to a dealership when the charge 150 for diagnosis per hour. sigh, not a smart idea.
Inspect all wiring to the turn signals.
Theres a 7.5amp fuse on the drivers side fuse panel #10(hazard warning switch)
Also check under the hood for fuse #49 (hazard warning lights) 7.5amp
Make sure you use 7.5amp fuse and nothing higher.

i just replaced the #10 7.5 fuse and now my signal works again.. i dont have the panel with the layout that shows which fuse is for what spot went where.. thanks so much!!! i can breath so much easier now but i dont see or have a 7.5 under my hood. i think my friend that helped me checked out most the fuses but gave up thinking that it wasnt going to be in the drivers fuse box. thanks again for everything!!! now i can turn corners without getting pulled over!
uhh no i didn't. i ordered mt front end from japan so everything was already on, all i had to do was take it apart and weld on the radiator support and then reverse order. i had to put everything on reversed the fact it was from japan lol but if you were to do a front conversion i would say it would be easier just get the 02 radiator support and buy a 02 hood latch, it would just fit right on. it pricey but trust me.. all the trouble i had to go thought aha ill do a DIY kinda thing of all the stuff i had to d. i took some pictures as i went along. ill probably post it tomorrow. keep in touch!
