Should I be worried?

Just bought a 2k3 TL-S, supposedly built in February, should I be worried about tranny even though it was recently built?

you should have worried BEFORE buying the car. Now you are stuck with it. Ride the hell out of it and have fun.

be afraid. be very afraid.

the trick is to never put the car into 3rd gear. only use sports shift, and never rev past 2000 rpms.

just playing...too late to worry now, just have fun and enjoy the car. by the way, not too many 03's with problems, its mostly the older models.

good luck!

I am....I very am. I was originally told that it was a big issue with the earlier generations.....but after reading this forum, it seems like it can happen to anyone

You should be fine. It's a crap shoot, kinda like winning the lottery.

Welcome. Enjoy. You are now a privileged member of a select elite group. This car positively kickes a$$ (for the money). Just remember to heed AGEAN's advice.

My 03 was born in March. I didn't even break it in properly. The very first day I got it I raced a little civic. Have fun with the car. I haven't have any problems with it yet.
