Should I just go with OBX SS headers?

My budget is about 800-900 dollars at this point.

For about 538 dollars, I can get a brand new Zex wet nitrous kit with a blow-down tube. That leaves me with just enough money to get a set of new OBX headers for about 330 dollars.

But the question is, should I just hold off on headers for the time being and wait for Stone Racing headers (been waiting since November of 2003) or a used set of Comptech headers for a good price? Comptech still goes for 600-700 used, and I'm not sure if I want to spend that much. I know Comptech is good, but it really is overpriced, not to mention used.

So should I give it a shot with OBX and get headers and nitrous at the same time (fun shit  ) or what?

Haven't heard too many good things about OBX.. They crack, ( I heard that a couple of people had to drill holes into the Header because the screw holes weren't lined up properly) again, this could be all talk... Right now on Ebay, there are two comptech headers for sale.. They look pretty good and good price too...

Their not, they've been installed. Their suppose to be silver in color then once installed and heat up they turn that color. Someone is not telling the truth in that ad.

Might be my eyes, but they look pretty good... Besides, it's comptech stuff, it will hold up..

Remember, you get what you pay for...

Looking at it further, the resonator looks pretty clean...

Look at the left tube on the header on the right!! It looks messed up to me!

Also, do the welds look different in this one compared to the ones in the second link?

looks fine to me, most of that is the reflection, the other part looks like a bend that is needed

you can get 3 sets of OBX's for 1 set of Comptech's...I know this is obvious, but to me, what are the chances of the OBX's messing up? probably not very good, and on a site like this, you hear about all the mess ups...like the tranny situations. I am debating to myself also, but the OBX price is so apealing to me.
