I was going to replace my 00 stock HU with a 2001-2003 changer HU but I don't think anyone has done it yet and I don't want to be a pioneer. (Looking for better CDR and radio).. if someone has done this, please point me in the right direction.

Otherwise, I'm looking for some pics of new HUs installed. I'm trying to visualize different options and this would be a big help!

many have swapped. they work just fine. you would want a 03 radio the most of the 3 years. oh and the CL radio DOES NOT work in the tl
best bet is to just go aftermarket

 

Well, I like the standard look so I'm leaning that way. Is it just a matter of taking the old one out and putting in the new one? Wire banks are the same? What differences are there in the 2002 vs 2003 radio?

Hopefully someone can post some pics of aftermarket stuff so I can see what that would look like. Especially with navi..
