thats it, just switch the 2 wires around and switch the +- around. I would change the wire in the plug, its faster and easier than splicing like i did, there isnt much wire to work with. Figure out how to switch the pins in the conector (very easy) and do it that way

Based on the questions you've been posting, I suggest you re-think trying any mods yourself.

AMEN BRO! That is my biggest complaint about my TL-S. That and the crappy radio but at least that's replaceable. I would kiss the man who figured out how to make the auto stick actually work in 1 and 2, where i want it the most. And i don't kiss men, ever

the following wiring for the 10 pin plug at the shifter (00-02):

Upshift - Pin #6
white w/ blue stripe (shifter plug side, male) to yellow (PCM plug side,
female)

Downshift - Pin #7
blue w/ yellow stripe (shifter plug side, male) to orange (PCM plug side,
female)

Is this the same for the 03?

Did this yesterday and it didn't work..i went to bed thinking "why doesn't it work for my '03"...than i remembered that i switched the 2 on the male side and the 2 on the female side..(what a dummy i know)..i should have just switched 2 on either plug...i will be back at it this weekend...my point was, i should have only switched the two...

Yes, only switch the 2 wires on one side, NOT both. Doing BOTH only brings it back to the way it was.

Are the wires the same color & location on my 99? I know that the 99's are oddballs for damn near everything, couldn't hurt to ask....
