Question Shift Knob ???

On the 02 Tl is it possible to remove and replace I guess you would still call it a shift knob on an automatic. Cuz I have tried to unscrew it before but it is really on there.

1. grab shift knob.

2. twist hand in counter clockwise rotations.

3. grow balls.

4. remove shift knob.

some trial and error, also i would think it kinda depends on how tight the threads are on that particular shiftknob, and exactly how strong you are/ you tighten it
