they will

wiring will be the challenge.

you can choose to re-wire the new seats or just swap the cushions from the new seats to your old frames and leave the wiring alone.

the 99's didnt have airbags in the seat and i believe there was something else.

you'll essentially be looking at a smaller plug with less wires.. you re-pin the wires from the 99 plug into your 02' one in the correct slots, you will be good to go.

also, the seats will have a much different feel to them. they wont "hug" as much and might be a little softer... the headrest are also square but you can use your old ones if you like those better. they also arent preforated.

My 99 TL seats also have no memory seat function. As mentioned before, no perforated leather, and no air bags. But they are comfortable.

^In for agreeing on the old seats more comfortable!

I have a 2000 and the seats are much softer than the 02-03, but then again they get slippery if you use leather cleaner and obviously don't have as much side bolstering as the 02-03 seats.

perforations also help the material breath so your back doesn't get as sweaty during really hot days.

what I would REALLY be interested in is possible cooling element so that I could have heated AND cooled seats. After a long day of work and this 95 degree weather, my back is drenched and I have to clean my seat when I get home.

I'm only expecting it to get worse when I transfer over to houston in the fall...
