seat belt frayed 99tl

My driver's seat belt is starting to wear out. Someone told me that seatbelts are a lifetime warrenty item. Can that be true? My car has 234,000 miles so I think I am out of warrenty.

Holy sheit! someone with more miles than me............ I believe they are, you may want to check with your local dealer though, or call acura client services Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard time at the toll-free number (800) 382-2238

Yes, seat belts are covered for life. However, I'm not sure if the dealer will replace a seat belt because it is frayed, only if it is not working properly.

Get ready to pile on......just rebuilt the original at 234,000. I changed the tranny oil every 110,000 miles, whether it needed it or not. I was trying to decide if I should fix the car or dump it. Fixed the tranny, hope I made the right decision. Now I need to fix some of the minor stuff.

Can we get pictures of it? I'd like to see how a TL can hold up over that many miles (not couting your's, Kris).

Seatbelts are under lifetime warranty.
