lots of us have used it with great success. before i used it (putting on my intake manifold and throttle body spacers) my intake runners were kinda black. i used it about a week before i did my valve adjustments and it was clean. no carbon build up what so ever.
and for $6-$7 a bottle its worth it.

if you had 128,000 miles on ur engine as i do, it makes a big difference, really cleans up the feel of it... and for 7 dollars why wouldnt you try it... theres wayyy too many threads on this man all u gotta do is search and read all of em

Mine during seafoam process...runs a lot smoother, I have 444 miles since seafoam last weekend....aver. mpg's up 3. Had 86K at the time. Took 15-20 minutes to do, was easy and cheap...

I have not used on my TL-S yet, but I used it on my brothers 92 Maxima with 200K, It was a big success!!

I had about 110K on the motor, it ran very smooth, and got better mileage then epa rated. Since I've then, and now 121k I've done 3 in the hopes it would have done something.

Still no improvements. It was fun to see the smoke.

At 98,000 miles I put a can in the oil=drove 30 miles then changed it, one can in the gas tank=with 4/5 gallon left and one can through the manifold. My car ran well before but now runs/idles smoother. Gas mileage seems to be the same. The car ran very well before. I cleaned out the intake manifold last yr in 2007 to unclog the EGR port. Nothing was really very dirty except for the EGR port. Engine has always run perfect. I changed the plugs (same as originals) at 80,000. That made a difference. After the plug change the car ran a little better.
Mileage is all dependent on how fast you drive. I try to keep the RPM's under 2200-2500. That saves a lot of gas. I average 23-26 mostly city, 20-30 % highway. Mountain roads/nothing is flat around Western NC.

Oh yeah it works!....my daily driver , 2001 Civic with 136k run's smoother even after putting it in just the gas tank!...try it in your mower's and weed wackers too, does wonders!

Doesnt hurt to put it in your car if you have high miles.

i seafoamed....with marginal results. i was still happy to have tried it out tho.

i was talking to some old auto mechanic though, and he said that seafoam is no different than turning up the idle and adding water the same way you seafoam. anybody confirm this?

LOL. I got a kick ass deal from Winchester Auto Parts in San Jose. It was a one time deal because business was slow. The manager told me that if i bought more then 4 bottles of seafoam, He would sell it to me for 5 bucks a can. I ended up buying a case of twelve which was all they had left. LOL

I had to go out and do some Deep Creep in the intake. I am going to wait until my tank is lower and add a can in there and do a can in the crank case before I do an oil change.

Thats for old beater cars and things from the 60s-

Seafoam is 100 percent petroleum products IE: hi detergent oils, originally developed in the 50s for boat engine use in the oil- and found to work on many things as the years went by. It will burn in the cylinders- can even be used as a starter fluid!!!
Its NOT a solvent like other stuff you see that says `do not drive`- on the can.
ok to use 1 can in 1/2 tank of gas- 2oz per gal is cleaning doseage

The gen2 DIY has gotten cluttered- you have to skip to the last pages to see pics of correct vac port-must remove plastic engine cover to access- any other instructions are old and incorrect! Gen 3 has good diy for procedure

its really simple if you buy seafoam in its aerosol spray can version -Deep Creep-
forget the hose dip and sip method--- use spray can with straw!-
simple to operate and control, lets you SEE whats going in- and you can hold the straw an inch away from the metal vac nipple and make tornados

bg44 is an excellent product for the intake vac.
I dont think yo ucan use it the 3 places though- anyone who has a can know for sure?

On Seafoam in gas tank- 1 can to 1/2 tank gas is super cleaning does of 2 ounces per 1 gallon
Maitenance dose ~5000 miles 1 ounce to 1 gallon gas

BG has a shit ton of products for complete engine cleaning top to bottom. They are expensive but I've found 44k to be a great product. I haven't tried anything else other than MOA and I got 3 cans of that for next to nothing or I wouldn't have purchased that at all. Seafoam is awesome, don't be scared.

I have done the water and hi rev trick on many 'older' cars with carbs and have seen amazing results but I would never try it with something like our tls. They (the older cars) are not high compression motors and had a little bit of room for the water to go in where these high compression motors do not have as much space to be occupied by that water/steam.

Recommened on an '82 Dodge Diplomat, not an Acura TL.

Has anyone used Marvels Mystrey Oil in place of SeaFoam?

dude, it is the easiest thing i have done to my car and i dont know anything about engines at all... literally
