Unhappy Scratches on My TLS

I live in NYC and it feels like everytime I park the car somewhere in the street, somone hits the bumpers or scratches the car. I've had the car for two months now and I have several scratches on the bumpers and one on the side rear view mirrors. My car is Dimond White, so all scratches are highly visible.

What products do you guys use to fix or cover your scratches? I need something fast or my car wont look as pretty any more. Scratches are a turnoff from the brand new feel I got when I first got my car.

And let's not forget those door dings from the SUVs! I've got two already, both on my driver's side (it's almost always the passengers in the other car who do the dinging), one on my front door and one near the fuel door.

What can be done about dings and minor scratches?

try www.paintscratch.com

it gives you an exact factory color matching, and dab some on there...

Park far away from the crowds . I've had my TLS for a month and no scratches yet, knock on wood. I make it a point to park just far enough away to avoid most of the traffic in the parking lot.

Besides, I could use the exercise

yeah Daverman, that's a good sugestion if one lives in KC. But remember, I live in NYC. There is no such thing as "far away from the crowds." Everyone in NY tries to fit into small parking spaces, because there aren't any. To do so they constantly bump the car in frnt and in the back. Plus NYC drivers are very agressive, especially the SUV drivers. However, I didn't notice dings and scratches on my old 91 Accord that much. For some reason everyone seams to be hitting my new TLS. It sucks.

Wait a sec, I thought people bought SUV's because they're small and impotent... (duck!)

Anyway, you're right. Downtown KC can be much harder to manage as well. Everyone's parallel parking and nobody seems to know exactly how long his car is.

Thank goodness for the downward-tilting rearview mirror on the TLS. I'm a much better parallel parker because of it.
