Angry scratch!!!

I went out to enjoy the nice weather today and noticed that there was a scratch by the rear door handle. WTF.... I washed the car today and maybe someone was pissed about that dunno...

Now HOW DO I REMOVE THIS SCRATCH!!!... Can I cover it up. I hate to see that scaratch stay there.

Thanks

if the scratch is only in the clear coat, get some clearcoat-safe rubbing or polishing compound. NOT the kind that rubs all the way to the paint. There are a few products that work. I use one called "Scratch Out: that is safe on even plexiglass, so I know it isnt too abrasive. Good luck

I use Mother's scratch remover and it seems to work really well on my car. Just follow the directions carefully.

Good luck.

SlickTL17 - I hear ya about the weather being perfect in Jersey for a drive. Too bad I'm stuck in the office, and sorry to hear about your scratch.

Acura3200- where can we find the scratch remover you're referring to?

They went onto your driveway after you washed your car and scratched it? Was it a big scratch? You shure someone did it? I'm just asking because I have lots of really thin wierd scratched by my door handles and I can't figure out where they came from. They really don't look like someone scrached them, but its wierd. I use keyless entry so its not like my keys could have scrached it either. Looks like a case for the X-files.

My friend gave it to me when I was complaining about the little scratches I had. He got it at Pep Boys in NJ. He said he's never seen it anywhere else. It works great IMHO.

Sorry dude. It's taken all my annoying scratches out. Maybe it's deeper than the ones I've taken out. Or maybe it's a color thing. What color is your car?

Try to polish them.. but i think you should bring it to a shop to do it.. they have this machine, a lot more effective than just hand rubbing. THere was this 15 cm scratch on my car before.. was pretty deep, the dealer asked for $40 and did an excellent job... it was all gone... can't see anything now.
