have you found the search feature here yet??
RP -Its great for racers but street use doesnt merit its cost to most of us
users swear by it same as every other brand--whatever you choose is the best!!

you are fine on mobil1 EP or penz platinum or whatever dino oil- the engine doesnt care

There is enough testing to prove that RP has benefits over other oils, but any quality oil will do its job.

He'd have to learn to formulate complete sentences made out of real words in order to make use of that feature.

search is the one place you can get away with word strings that make no sense~

the internet search works well too- lots of info on RP and every brand of oil
RP is good stuff, but doesnt last past 7500 miles--
lab test show it does its thing great for regular scheduled interval,, then its done!!
If you track day or otherwise race the car, I could see using it or redline

otherwise I like M1-EP or penz platinum, trying the valvoline nextgen `recycled oil` right now

Oil matters

There are two things I can say on this subject. As a mechanical engineer for the petrochemical industry, it has been my experience that most refineries in the northeast buy RP by the drums for their own 100-200hp 300-10,000 gallons per minute pumps. This does not mean it's the same grade/type of oil you buy for your car, but it does mean that the people who make this stuff trust RP for heavy duty applications. The other thing I can add is that many refineries pour name brand oil into store brand bottles. So when you hear someone claim one brand as better than another, be aware that it's quite possible that the guy that bought Mobil oil and the guy that bought Pep Boy's Proline probably purchased the same exact oil, only one guy walked away a little richer.

Mobil 1 - EP or Castrol Edge are my two pics, both outstanding off the shelf motor oils.

Good point - as long as they are, in fact, words.
