I have been toying around with the idea of installing glow gauges but from what Ive read they dont have the right redline for the Type S. The FAQ link does not work anymore. The only issue I see in changing the gauges is that everything else (clock, ac, shifter light, etc) will be mismatched. Anyone done the mod recently?

 

There was someone on here that actually changed all the LED's including the shifter one and looked pretty awesome, just haven't been able to find the link for it again.

Dont waste your time or money on Glow gauges. Most are cheap and not very good looking in person. You can put in LEDs and not have to do any soldering. There are Prewired LEDs with the resistor already attached. The rest of the leds that you would need are available as plug and play. Also in another thread recently, i brought up trying LED Halo rings. You may want to try or think about them, it may be even easier for the gauges and much more even light.
