Restoring car appearance

My Nighthawk TL-S shows swirls and scratches under the sun. I want it to be shiny and black again.

I would like to remove them. Tried this stuff called Quixx scratch remover and it didnt really work good.

I have never looked into professional detailing services and I don't know where to start or if it's worth it but how much do you guys think it would cost to get it finshed and polished? (rough estimate I.E. Paint job=$1000-2000 etc) If its not too much I'll probably do that.

When I got my windows tinted I had em also wax and polish my car with some thing I forget what its called something to do with diamonds and it was about $75 if I remember correctly. Also when I went to the body shop to see if they would repaint my hood because I have so many chips from rocks and such the estimate for that was about 500 bucks.

click the Off Topic link at top of page- then Wash and Wax threads are all together.
Pro level advice, and what products to use where- are discussed, and great stuff is available from ExcelDetail
You can restore just about anything with a few polishing compounds and application pads of different strengths.
Pro detail job $250-$400 will make it like new or better

See some of the `Todays Detail` threads- they are usually horror stories with full pics- that cleaned right up!

my car is better looking than new, the neighbors cars- the wifes kids come use it.... fixed a buddies headlights in 10 minutes with it,,,,
and then sanded the house exterior for painting with it!!!,, velcro backed pads- it doesnt care what its pressed against- just adjust the speed
