resonator removal without removing bumper

I just got an icebox, and started installation. but i got stuck at the resonator. I know people on here have installed the icebox without having to remove the bumper. I couldn't figure out how to remove the resonator without removing the bumper.

I tried searching with not much help, thanks in advance.

Remove the plastic panel underneath the resonator. From underneath, you should be able to find the long bolts holding the resonator to the frame. Then just drop the resonator out the bottom onto the floor. It should be able to slide out along the floor, or if you need, jack up the front left a lil bit to slide it out.

Its alot easier to do this method if you have a type-s. If you have the TL-P its much harder. The resonator is larger on the TL-P. Removing the bumper isnt hard to do and shouldnt scare you

i do have a '03 type-s, i tried to remove it this morning. I got the bolt that is on the top of the resonator off. Is the second bolt the one that faces towards the side (parallel to the ground)? If so, this is going to be a b**ch
