i installed my AEM short ram intake today, and after i removed the stock air box, i did not know how to get the resonator out. the DIY/Info said there were two screws, but i dont know what they were talking about. i dont need to remove it since i have short ram. i was wondering the pros and cons of removing it, and how to do it. thanks.

You need to remove the bumper before you can get to the resonator. Refer to the FAQ section on how to remove front bumper

What screw/bolt are you having trouble removing...ie to get the resonator out? I always thought that removing the bumper was overkill. (you can get the resonator out faster than a person can remove the front bumper!!!) I can tell you how to get it out of the car without removing the front bumper. Having the right tools always help though!! Just let me know.
yea, if you could instruct us on how to remove it w/out taking off the bumber, i would appreciate it. thanks.

I took mine out also with out removing the bumper, It was a while ago so I dont remember anything in particular but I did have to lift the front of the car up and remove part of the splash shield , It was a tight fit to get out but it's out.

you have to pull the left side fender trims, If you look in the wheel well, there are clips, You have to remove most or all of them (depending on how much space you want to work with., and there are more clips and bolts below the left side bumper, when you remove those, the flap can be pull down. You have to jack up your car and remove the wheel to be able to get at the intake resonator.
After you get over the fear of removing the bumper, that route is way easier then what I just described. If you still don't understand what I mean, go take a look in the wheel well and below your bumper, doesn't take a rocket sci to figure this out.
