Resetting Tein SS dampening level

Is it possible to reset it? I think I might have gone several clicks out of tune on the right rear one.

Long story short

I was trying to fit my allen wrench in to the right rear shock in an attempt to soften the rear suspension. Somehow the the rotary knob was too easy to turn that I lost all my counts and ended up clicking it all over the place.

Is there a way to reset all the dampening level? I tried balance it be testing the rebounding level, but I know it's not correct.

Help?

The "manual" from Tein said that if you overclick, it'd damage the shock.

turn it all the way one way or the other till (dont force it or over spin it, it shouldnt go more then its designed to any way) then back them all the same amount of clicks.

Make sure you turn it all the way clockwise, do not turn counter clockwise all the way, and adjust accordingly not past 16 clicks. When you turn it clockwise all the way, don't force the last click if it's in between clicks.

When you go counter clockwise, it goes way beyond 16 clicks, that's why you should always turn the knob all the way clockwise first when you adjust your setting on the damper.

Riding your vehicle with dampening beyond 16 clicks counter clockwise will damage your struts per Tein.

I went and clicked it clockwise, then counterclockwise and found that the difference in the back was only 2 click soft.

Thank you everyone.
