Resale value
I have the TLS-Navi in satin silver with a spoiler and 2 12"s. The car is in excellent condition, the wheels have scaratches due to someone other than me driving, and concrete curbage. I was just wondering how much I could get for the car if i sold it. It has approx 25,500 on it. It was purchased in May.

Half of the reason I replied to this is because like most unknown posters on this board, nobody has replied to your post in greater than 75 viewings.
It is annoying to read this board day after day, only to find that very few of the regulars reply to the unknown board members posts - which is why I quit replying and posting many months ago.
Granted, you are preaching to the choir, by asking those who own the car what they would pay for it. I know this isn't the best forum for this question to be answered, but really board members, does it take a once-a week reader of the board to give this guy the courtesy of a reply?
Anyway, I don't know or care to know what you or someone else thinks your car is worth. Incidentally, I bought mine at the same time as you, and am very interested in trading/selling it in the next 6-24 months, just because I'm bored with it and there are definitely better rides out there for those who can afford it.
So, as a fellow board member who has posted and not been replied to so many times, I can empathize with your unanswered questions.
Why any question goes unanswered when there Moderators out there is sad, and causes me to seriously question any need for a membership to this board?
Keep selling those mods, and kiss my unmod'd @ss you non-repliers (is that a word? For some reason I think that question might draw more of a response than most others!!)

Are you planning to trade it in for something else? If so, which car? And why do you want to get rid of it?....if you don't mind me asking.
I don't always reply b/c I don't always have something to say.

BirjuP - check Kelley Blue Book, you will probably have to use model year 2001. http://www.kbb.com/

I got $26,200 for my TLS when I traded it in .. it was a NBP non-navi w/ 10,000 miles on it.
You'll get more in the pvt market but I didn't have the time or the inclination to deal with the accompanying hassle. keep in mind that the effective value of my trade in was $26,200 + 6.75% .... i.e the sales tax credit towards my trade in.
The bad news is that new TLS's are going in the range of $29,300 to $29,800 if you do your homework & negotiate hard. The good news is that the TLS is a hot commodity and you won't have much trouble selling it.
It was a great handling car while it lasted but eventually I could not get beyond the rattles, squeaks, cheap interior and poor quality. Acura is going to get MAULED in this year's J D Power ratings.
