those look clean but if im not mistaking, they are made of fiberglass. dont know about the rest of you fellas but i would much rather have poly urethane, but then again for that price......

You what though? I think they just grabbed a pic and used it as an example. I dont think that's what they are really selling. And yes, for that price, it should be urethane.

why would you buy those pos when you can get oem side skirts for a lil over 2 bills and they come from an acura dealership. they come in green though. i had them painted for 150. heres the link

A) Yes its noted on the page:Constructed of FRP ULTRAFLEX FIberglass

B) Poly urethane

C) For most yes fiberglass is a bad for having it installed on as your front lip.especially if your slammed...you will eventually hit,scrap and crack it...installin fiberglass sides and back skrits on the other hand is not to bad at all...but I would stick to OEM......

Are these the "lip kit" sides? or the plain sides? I'm going to bid as soon as you guys tell me cause it's hard to tell from the pic..

 

My friend has a replica front lip on his BMW made out of the flexible fiberglass material like these side skirts are. It is surprisingly flexible, when he has unfortunately hit something with the lip, it doesn't crack like regular fiberglass does, it kind of just scrapes like polyurethane does.

 

I sorta don't trust the ebay. My gf just got ripped off of something she bought. Seller claimed he shipped item, gave tracking number. Post office never received item. Took it up to paypal. Seller provided the tracking number, and since he provided a tracking number, they favored him. paypal is not that safe neither. Watch out.

 

I'm assuming its the lip kit as the name he has on the site says "99 - 01 ACURA TL SIDE LOWER BODY SKIRTS in GREEN NEW" Lower body usually refers to the kit. I'd make sure by sending a message to the seller just in case.

i think it's only the sides buddy.

 

It's not a part of the body kit.
It's actually the side part of the car.(the part come with the car)

Yup. be careful with ebay. They have terms or the way they describe things will lure you to buy something you're not paying for. Always ask questions.

 

i paid less than that for real oem ones that were brand spanking new....still in the acura box, with the hardware kit included and everything.....

 

I bought my sides and front lip from this dealer.

 

damn how many kits does this guy have i bought my sides from him about a year ago......
