Replacing Brake Pads

I'm getting ready to replace my front and rear pads, and I was going to go with Bendix Ceramics on the front, and Bendix organic on the back. Anyone see any problems with this?

I used the bendix ceramics on my camry and wasn't happy with them at all. They were aweful noisy (supposedly ceramic pads are silent). I did all the correct stuff at the time of brake job like resurfaced the rotors and lubed everything up too. I switched to the raysbestos QS ceramics about 1500 miles later and was extremely pleased with them. No noise and they're still going at 20k+ on them.

if you are not into performance, id suggest the Satisfied Pro OEM compound pads from tirerack.com. they are pretty cheap and ive had good luck w/ them so far. If you are lookin for enhanced braking id get the EBC Greenstuff pads along with some aftermarket rotors!

what's the EBC Greenstuff and where can I check it out?? As far as rotors, do you think brembo's only, or is there any other aftermarket brand that is good??

Thanks for the responses, ya'll. I ended up going with ceramic raybestos, front and rear. Now, another question...This morning (Morning after installing the pads), whenever I brake at 15mph and slower, I can hear a slight squeal coming from, I think the left side. Any idea what this could be? Just new pads???

If you can splurge a bit more on brake pads, I'd recommend Endless. Awesome pads, and they work well with either oem or aftermarket rotors.

Did you apply the anti-squeal paste onto the back of the pads and both sides of the pad shims? That is most likely what is causing the slight squeal when you brake. You can buy this anti-squeal paste at Kragen's / Autozone or any automotive parts store and costs like $3 tops for usually a pack of 2. I hope that fixes your squeal.

Thanks, bro. I didn't do it, so I think that may be the problem...even though it's stopped for now.
