Hi all,

I searched the forum and can't anything regarding a DIY guide on replacing the alternator. Is it easy to replace? I don't want to pay a shop to do it when I can do it myself. Could someone please provide some step-by-step guide? I have a 2000 3.2TL-P and i started noticing the lights on my dashboard gets dimmer whenever i use the power windows. Once time it even shut off the radio when i was driving. The dashboard also gets dimmer when the car comes to a stop and the radiator fan starts spinning (drawing more power). Thanks in advance.

 

make sure you go get it tested at a local auto parts store before you go buy one and replace it.
