Talking Remus Exhaust for TL

Does anyone know anything on the Remus Exhaust? How does it sound louder then the Comptech? Louder then the Mugen? I've heard the Mugen and it's pretty damn loud. Too much. I like the look of the Remus universal fit ones, especially the tips.

My friend has a Remus on his 92 Legend Coupe. I'm guessing it would sound somewhat the same.

It sounds somewhat like the Comptech exhaust, but the Comptech exhaust's sound stops around 2500? rpm's and the Remus stays throaty and heartier through higher RPM's. He also has the CAI so his car WAILS when he hits 4000 rpm's.

Don't know if this helped or not, but it's all I can offer.

So, where can you get this exhaust? Is it some sort of axel or cat back setup? Or some sort of universal canister arrangement?

And the $64 question: How much?

If you think mugen is loud on the TL then probably keep your stock on.

Oops my mistake. The one that I heard was not the Mugen. The loud one was the comptech I believe? I never really paid attention to it cuz I wasn't really thinking about getting an exhuast b4.

I have Remus on my car too. It gives you like a deeper sound! Love it!! I purchased two angle square tipped from Remus, took forever to get since they were backordered. I will be removing them soon!

$375 is pretty good considering all the places that I called wanted in the low $400's for one, although I was inquiring for a 4 cyl accord....

We Legend owners are happy when we can get a Legend Remus exhaust for $550. Usualy prices are higher then that. I'm not sure what they are for the TLs though. The Remus for the Legend is NOT a CAT back, but a rear section only. So again, I'm not sure how their system is for the TL. But they are not cheap exhaust systems.

From Seattle Remus Distributor,

First of all, Remus is made to exceed OEM specification, using high-grade stainless steel materials. It generates 3-5% output gains and features a great deep sporty, yet non-intrusive sound. For short, it doesn't sound loud as most other exhausts out there. I have the dual tip on my silver tl. It sounds deeeeep.

Secondly, if anyone intersted in purchasing the Remus exhaust of any types, just let us know by writing to us at chea7@acura-tl.com for more info. Since we are one of the few Remus exhaust distributor, you know you'll get the quality that you want. Remus exhausts available in 7 stypes: Single Turbo/ Twin Turbo/ Twin Future/ Twin DTM/ Twin 02/ Twin Angled/ Twin Rallye. They are all brand new products so you know you get the best Remus products from us. Just let us know and we'll do the rest.

About Remus exhaust I can get anything of the seven styles. I have the twin "02" on my 99 Silver TL. It sounds nice. I got the dual tips. Looks good but a little pricy.
