removing the instrumental cluster

Anyone knows how to properly remove the instrumental cluster (the one with the speedometer, gas, oil, water temp etc)...I need to take it out to replace the whiter light bulbs behind it...but I don't want to miss any hidden screws and break things...please give me some detail instructions how you did it.

Just make sure not to turn the ignition on with the cluster out.....you'll get an SRS light when you install again.........

Thanks for posting the clear instruction on how to remove/replace the Acura TL-S gauges. I'm wondering does the speedometer/the car's milages etc. are stored in the cluster itself or elsewhere? My car is a 2002 model and the milage is show digitally, not by that mechanical counter...by taking the cluster off, this would cut off the electricity, would it reset my milage? I haven't taken it out yet since I am afraid that this incidence will happen...what if I take it out and leave it out too long? Would this erase it from memory (incase if there is a backup battery in there)..

Don't worry a thing buddy.
The gauge cluster is held by 4 screws and 3 plug. Just release that 3 plug and put those back on when you finish it. Don't worry about it. I installed indiglo gauge on my TL and I had no problem with it.

Do you guys know if the milage is actually stored on the instrument cluster itself or elsewhere?

Is that the case!? I just put in my indiglos and now I have a constant SRS light. Is there a good way to reset the SRS light without the special tool?

If you're car is still under warranty, just take it to the dealer. Otherwise, local shop and have them reset the code for ya.

By the way, did you fix the gauge??

since we talked I have reset the SRS guage but have not fixed the guages. I guess if we get the silver ones, all will be well. If we don't i will tear into these white ones.
